Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya - 2001

Story

In a line, the film is about three MCP husbands with stay-at-home
wives who know no better till helpful neighbours (Juhi and Govinda) step in to change their opinions and lifestyles. Fair to mention at the onset that this isn't Govinda's film.
Also, any laughter that you may inadvertently experience during the viewing of this flick is strictly because of the forced gaffes by Ketki Dave (the ara ra ra woman in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi who has since graduated to B-gradefilms) and her brow-beating husband, Johnny Lever.
Chandrachud Singh and Tabu bring up the serious issues angle (how it is good for the health of the family and home budgets if wives could step out to work) while the third couple (Isha Kopikar and Vinay Anand) is redundant. Period.
Tabu and Govinda act well in spite of the bad directorial skills of Rao, while Lever's one liners, though repetitive, do make you grin. Aamdani Atthanni... plays to the gallery but you wouldn't have missed much in life if you let it
pass you by.
