My Wifes Murder - 2005

Story

Anil Kapoor has appeared in a number of different avatars during his career, so finding something unique must be rather difficult. The Bollywood veteran managed to try something new in Musafir recently, but the action-packed film was a failure at a box office flop. Lets hope his latest ?hatke? role in Ram Gopal Varma?s production ?My Wife?s Murder? proves luckier amongst the audience!

Ravi Patwardhan (Anil Kapoor) is a middle-class man with a demanding job at a local editing studio. He?s ambitious at heart and hopes to succeed in his profession, with a little help from his hard-working assistant Reena (Nandana Sen). Life at home is a little more difficult. Ravi?s wife (Suchitra Krishnamurthy) mistrusts her husband, which naturally creates tension in the house. Whilst Ravi initially tries to keep a cool head, he finally loses his patience in a moment of madness?

My Wife?s Murder is directed by G. G. Philip. The story offers something a little different, which is typical of Ram Gopal Varma productions. However the filmmaker hasn?t managed much success with his recent productions, which have left his fans rather disappointed and his cult-status rather deflated. Will things improve with ?My Wife?s Murder??
