As always, Manisha Koirala and Nana Patekar impress the audience with their superb acting. Manisha Koirala plays a character that has two sides, one is timid and afraid, the other is exciting and glamorous. Koirala does a wonderful job in portraying both sides, especially the timid and afraid side. Koirala also looks dashingly beautiful in some scenes. Patekar, on the other hand, is shown as a very smart, but very possessive villain who loves his wife (Koirala's character) dearly. Patekar impacts the audience with his very subtle, but scary look. Patekar looks perfect for his role.
Jakie Shroff has a short-but-sweet role which mainly centers stage in the first half of the movie. He plays a rich businessman who hadn't thought about anything other than business before he sees Koirala. Although Shroff has played his role well, he must think of getting more roles like Gardish or 1942 A Love Story rather than his recent secondary roles in this movie, Rangeela and Trimurti.
