Current Status: 
Make him laugh, make him cry, ask him to dance and he'll do it all to pefection. Mr Wide Grin is an all rounder. Over the years, he's made a hit pair with David Dhawan and the duo have sustained several number ones at th b-o but recently 'Banarasi Babu' failed so badly that everyones wondering how long the Dhawan - Govinda magic will last. And a disastrous 'Aunty No.1' didn't help much either. 

Strengths: 
His close association with David Dhawan and an enormous talent that is the envy of many an actor. 

Weaknesses: 
Has a hideous dress sense - even though he's really trying hard to improve it. Added to which he could use a strict diet to get rid of all that fat. He also hasn't gained that much popularity in the overseas market - sad but true - the classes haven't yet accepted him. His movies tend to have mass appeal but he lacks class - a poor man's form of entertainment and too dependant on David Dhawan to churn out hits for him.
